Founded by Morena Abbatangelo — who grew up on a kitchen stool beside her Italian mother — Polpette is the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. Morena worked for years as a chef and restaurant manager in Utrecht, and now brings her passion to her own intimate, modern, and welcoming space. The restaurant seats about 40 guests, making it the perfect place for lunch, dinner, a relaxed drink, or a private celebration. The menu offers classic antipasti, warm dishes, fresh house-made dolci, and a selection of Italian wines, beers, and cocktails. And yes — you’ll find no pizza here, only true trattoria-style pasta, fish, meat, and timeless desserts like panna cotta and tiramisu.
